Many metal fans have looked forward to the return of 80's icons Witchcross who only released one album in 1984 called Fit For Fight. It's not too late to make a comeback, and what Witchcross did was to release their debut again, but with new vocalist Kevin Moore, known from Brian Conolly's Sweet on the microphone instead of legendary singer Alex Nyborg Rasmussen. With Kevin Moore in the band from 2012 Witchcross started to prepare for this new album Axe To Grind. The style has changed a little into metal pop, not as sharp as they were before, but an album that could make a new start for them. On the song Ride With The Wind there is some neat and good guitar work, but otherwise it's on the instrumental song Axe To Grind that Witchcross shape up most energy and efforts. This song has some inspiration from Axe Dance from their first album Fit For Fight, so not completely in the wrong end of town of this work.
