Greek AORsters Wild Rose are presenting their second album, called Dangerous. I confess that I haven't heard of them before, so I can't compare this album to their debut or one of the EPs. I learnt that the band has been through line-up changes, but have no clue how much it effects their music. Sorry.
They kick off with the powerful melodic rocker Alone, a song which in the 80's would have get a lot of airplay. Singer David A. Saylor has a powerful voice and doesn't sound too polished. You get more 80's rocker, slower tunes like I Can't Stop Loving You and ballads like Awake. The closer Not A Day Goes By is catchy and make you spin the disk again.
Sure, the Greek don't present anything new, but for lovers of 80's hard rock / melodic rock this album will be a nice addition to their collection. The songs sound fresh and it's fun to listen to.
