Light At The End Of The Tunnel

Light At The End Of The Tunnel
(Shrapnel Records - 2001)

It's unbelievable that Jeff Pilson started dealing with musicianship at age 6! The first big step to appreciation was becoming a member of Dokken in 1983 and he still is a member of Dokken. They toured intensively and shared the stage with bands like Aerosmith, Metallica and AC/DC. The heavy rock project War & Peace started in the late 80's and is now active again. In the meantime Mr. Pilson played - beside his main band Dokken - e.g. from 1993 to 1995 in the live band of Ronnie James Dio. His last job was the one of a musical director at the movie Rockstar - featuring Mark Wahlberg and Jennifer Aniston - which tells the story of a rock band and their career. Rumors said that the story was based in the story of Judas Priest.... But Jeff Pilson wasn't just working in the background, he also played the part of the bassist of the movie band Steel Dragon. Pilson stated that he enjoyed the work, but in future he will concentrate on composing movie soundtracks.
On the CD Light At The End Of The Tunnel Jeff Pilson presents 10 heavy rocking tracks. He was joined by Scorpions drummer James Kottak and several well-known guitarists like Ritchie Kotzen, Paul Gilbert, Reb Beach and John Norum, beside that Mr. Pilson took care of the instrumental parts almost his own. Also he did the vocals.
There are 10 high-class and catchy songs for the 'Generation Rock'!
