Quantum Leap

Quantum Leap
(Massacre Records - 2011)

After some changes in the original line-up Persona Non Grata was ready to make attempt to make their second album, Quantum Leap. The first CD Shade In The Light was well received by the Greek fans, but the music on their new album Quantum Leap can not live up to the previous musical content. There is way too much guitar fiddling from Chris Gatsos in the experimental direction that they trying to find their way around. Imaginative Mind is the first song and the only one where the consistency is kept intact during the song, aggressive guitar and nice vocals from the new singer Aris Pirris. Lend Me A Hand has a good melodic and progressive sound, but I'm sorry to say that the rest of songs are weak and without the right and professional feeling and finesse that they should have been filled with. In the song Inertia there is a good guitar solo from Chris Gatsos, but the way out of the abyss seems to be too long to climb at the present time for Persona Non Grata.
