E'er
(Virusworx Rec. - 2002)

The album of the German trio is hard to describe, coz you can't really compare them to any other band. At least not to any I know. The music on the first track alg. is heavy, doomy and vocally, well.... It's like you listen to someone on the phone, but her just one talking and then there are some sick shouts of front lady Andrea who also play bass and flute. There are noise rock elements as well as metal influences. Drummer Thomas also played the cello parts and is responsible for the samples. Every track is different, but there is a kind of red fathom on the music. This unique mixture enchants you, you don't know, if you like it, but you can't stop listening as well. I like I Excessiv-ly Read My Letters best. The label bio says they are interesting for fans of: Neurosis, Dystopia, Esoteric, Ambush, Godflesh, Fudge Tunnel, Einstürzende Neubauten and Totenmond. It also says that this music is suicidal paranoia and is like being on turkey!
So, if you are listening to one or more of these bands, check them out. Also open-minded - I really mean open-minded! - music fans should give it a try. If you will get an idea, then check out www.lmiygwal.de!
