High Speed Operation

High Speed Operation
(self-released - 2011)

There is no doubt that Crossplane is inspired of Motörhead. Already in their presentation they say: "We are Crossplane, and we play rock'n'roll." And vocalist Celli has the same rusty way of singing as Ian Lemmy Kilmister from Motörhead, and their music has a lot of Motörhead stuffed in between the lines. Crossplanee formed in 2009 and we now have a chance to get their debut album, 7 songs where Celli sings and plays guitar in a simple and uncomplicated way but without letting the musical quality down. No Win Situation has this simple rock and boogie flavor that many bands strive after. Real Life is like standing at a water pipe and keep working, pumping the water out. Sound like mid 80's and filled with hard pumped rock music. Stop The Bullet get the Motörhead inspiration into the fingertips of Celli and his men, boogie rock almost in the vein as Going To Brazil from Motörhead. To stay in the humoristic thoughts we have the song Is It Me, actually the best song on the whole CD. Great creative guitar rock with laughs all around, super rock'n'roll. All in all a well-written debut from Crossplane, the guys will be interesting to follow.
