Tomorrow's Lost

Tomorrow's Lost
(Earache Records - 2012)

Canadian outfit Cauldron arose from the ashes of Goat Horn in 2006, a year later they stepped into the limelight with an EP called Into The Cauldron. Now the trio is back to present their 3rd full-length album - Tomorrow's Lost.

They kick off with End Of Time, a tune which shows that their influences are NWoBHM bands, some early 80's rock and a bit speed metal. Their logo and the artwork of Tomorrow's Lost give you the impression that this is some kind of death metal.... The artwork of their former releases is more 80's heavy metal like and somehow fit their music better. Songs like Born To Struggle and Nitebreaker take you back in time!

Burning Fortune is a fast one, they speed up for this one, but see yourself!

At Endless Way the Canadians add a dash glam metal to their more traditional heavy metal. The closer is Tomorrow's Lost (Sun Will Fall), a song which somehow sounds familiar... Very catchy! The other songs take you back to the heydays of NWoBHM as well, so fans of the NWoBHM sound should check out Cauldron's new album Tomorrow's Lost!
