Sacrilege Of Humanity
(Selfmadegod Records - 2010)

Calm Hatchery are from Poland and just before Christmas they release their 2nd album via the Polish label SelfMadeGod. Fans of brutal technical death metal who can still make a wish for X-mas, than add Calm Hatchery! The fivesome deliver extreme brutal death metal full of hate, a mean roller coaster ride. Calm Hatchery are on a fast ride with rapid-fire double bass drums and razor-sharp riffs they take you apart. If they slow down a bit, they steam roll everything with their deadly groove and lava-ish sounds. Spiced up with guitar leads and extremely deep growls - and some gang shouts on top. At the high speed death metal parts they are similar to Vader, Immolation and Misery Index while the slower parts show reminiscences to Nile, Morbid Angel and Behemoth. Their brutal and deadly cocktail should make every fan happy. Okay, sometimes they lose the thread, or is the chaos volitional? Does the Polish simply enjoy these passages? Anyway, they create a great mix of technical death metal on high speed. The sound is very powerful, fat and clean.
In a nutshell, Calm Hatchery present a highlight at the end of the year and some established bands look pale compared to the Polish youngsters!
