Lunatic Siren
(Masacre Records - 2002)

Wow, what an album! Melodies are ruling the album and a female singer who didn't try to sound like an opera singer. She sounds raw and natively! Just great!
The German band is named after a tornado which is also called twister. They just changed the spelling. The 12 songs are starting a kind of tornado which is coming over you and left his traces... The songs are catchy and are very impressive. Not really pure heavy metal, but Lunatic Siren rocks! They start with May-Day and Mrs. Borden followed by Valhalla, Thunderland up to Two Wild Hearts. Only the guy like cover version of the A-Ha cover The Sun Always Shines On TV the Twyster could have been left off. Anyway, a new, fresh band which makes an impressive start! Thumbs up!
