This is the 3rd release of the Swedish metal groove monsters 2 Ton Predator, it's called Demon Dealer. With every release the Swedish got heavier and faster, this time less riff-oriented. They were more focussed on the song this time. A good example for this progression is the album opener Slowly Slaughtered. The album Demon Dealer presents a variety of songs. On the title track a phase in the life of a racketeer is documented. He's greedy and forget about what's really important in life. Most of the time he spends hammered in bars, but still makes his way. Really fast starts Demon Dealer, even if breaks lead into mid-tempo and slower parts, it's always really heavy! Later speeds up again. Musically the Bone Brigade is a little more aggressive then the other tracks, but still melodic. A heavy grooving song. Songs like Transparent Venom Addition and A Funeral Romance have a deeper meaning, it's worth to take a look at the lyrics. A Funeral Romance is more mid-tempo with heavy guitar riffing of Mazza and growls - not typical death metal growls - of Mogge.
They are as heavy as Crowbar, but more groovy and faster. Add some aggression and melody, then you probably can imagine the 2 Ton Predator sound.
Check out: Demon Dealer, Transparent Venom Addiction and Hammered.
