Now The Pineapple Thief have an EP for their fans. The song Build A World was taken from their latest studio album All The Wars, but is also presented in a different version, the Dirty Hifi Remix. Additionally the foursome is presenting 3 new tracks. The Remix of Build A World is taking you into a different sound universe - partly it reminds me of Kraftwerk while other passages have a EBM flair..
What Are You Saying is a rock tune which has a positive edge. But it's the noisy guitar riffs combined with a catchy keyboard melody which will hook you up. Slow passages where the vocals get all the focus add a different flavor to the rocker. A sonic roller coaster ride. With You Don't Look So Innocent they take a different road, it's punky alternative rock tune where the prog elements aren't prominent. But the song not just have a punk vibe, it also has a dash of New Wave in it - without the pop element. Last but not least they present a ballad called You Drew Blood which shows their emotional side and Bruce Soord's fragile voice on top.
Fans Of The Pineapple Thief should get a copy of this EP and for everybody who wants to check them out, this is a chance to check out their sound spectrum.
