The Dutch Thanatos been one of the very first European death / thrash metal bands and started back in early 80's. The 4 demos they released got them opening slots for Kreator, Napalm Death and Sepultura! They also headlined a few shows in Portugal even if they hadn't a contract or an album to present.
In 1990 the German label Shark Records signed them and released the debut Emerging From The Netherworlds which is now re-released with 8 songs from their demos. All songs are remastered. On the album the band present their death thrash metal which was extreme music in that days, but for the eyes of a nowadays death metal fan it's not very extreme, but interesting. And now the Dutch are back!
