Architects Of Perfection

Architects Of Perfection
(Massacre Records - 2011)

This band is still an underground band in the extreme death metal genre, but there are different ways to make death metal. Six Reasons To Kill are not a new or inexperienced band, they have been around since 1999 and their first CD came in 2000. Since that they have grown in strength and development, and are now giving their 6th shot from the hip, and this time the album is called Architects Of Perfection.
In the case of Six Reasons To Kill they arrange the vocals to consistently double vocals mixed between screaming and growling, and they control it very nicely. It gives a good combination a freshness to the songs. Last album Another Horizon was well received by the fans, and the new album should be even greater and could be a bigger success. 9 of the 10 songs are well structured and melodic even as it is this genre with massive growling, they add humor and instrumental displays. Normally death metal songs are not favorites in public radio programs, but the death-ballad My Poison and very melodic False Absolution could get some airtime as I see it.
Now they have no intension to hide their style, they are a death metal extreme band, and the song My Bitterness has combinations between fast and slow guitar elements and to top it up the song begins with a very interesting doomsday sound like it was coming directly from the graveyard.
As a general point of view all the songs are fast and a little muddy in the start, but around halfway through the songs they get melodic and inspirational for the listeners.
The instrumental song Wanderin' Stars gives a polite outlook to the band style and completes the indication that Six Reasons To Kill have multiple assets to them.
