If you want a good melodic power metal that is still completely filled with the qualities of pure black metal, then it is Schattenreich you are looking for. This new band has a lot of potential, great or maybe genius vicious black ideas with power rhythm, black heavy brutal singing and growling so the mouth water is drowning the stages. People who have seen Schattenreich live are on agreed terms, that Schattenreich have the future ahead of them for the genre melodic black metal. This new album is so good that everybody can take part of it without being turned off by their style. Some of the songs are finished with accordion play, and I can say that all of this fucking black material is worth a good listening, you will be surprised, especially about Die Feuer brennen, a heavy black song with splendid rhythm and humor. Hochzeit is brutal and melodic and really describes what Schattenreich stands for. The title track Schattenreich is so powerful that it threatens to turn your speakers over, melodic ideas combined with the most raw power you can get. Thumbs up for the new sound of black metal.
