Most of the known hardcore acts come from the USA, but a band from Kassel, Germany impressed the HC scene for several years now – the Rykers. It's unusual to release a live album in this genre, but the German HC'lers tried it and did it successful. They recorded two shows in Holland and present on the live disc 70 min. of live action incl. hits like Gone For Good, Brother Against Brother, Beg To Differ, As The Laughter Dies and Youth Of Today-classic Together which is sung by Ray Cappo!
On the second disc the band present 3 new songs, 5 cover versions and a remix. Personally I think that the cover versions of songs from other genres are more interesting, so I prefer the Girlschool (C'mon Let's Go), AC/DC (Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap) and Accept's London Leatherboys which are more interesting than the ones of Bad Brains and Cro-Mags.
The German quartet also add 2 video clips and so it's really value for money!
