After the remix albums of Prong and Ministry 13th Planet have another remix album at hand - Revolting Cocks. This time Al Jourgensen side project Revolting Cocks got remixed. I have to confess that I'm no fan of this remix stuff, coz usually the guys who do the remixes are destroying the songs and pretty often you can hardly identify the originals. As a metal fan I miss the heavy riffs and so I'm not really a fan of the electronic remixes. Sure there are many music fans who like this stuff, who like the electronic versions of rock and metal tunes. The songs of Sex-O Olympic-O got completely overdone and are now presented in a different way... Some are more techno, others are now forced into danceable beats... Club sounds... Electronic sounds are prominent. The songs been remixed by masters of remixing, the ones who love electronic sounds and experiments will love the album, everybody else won't care at all. For me a waste of time...
