Bursting Out

Bursting Out
(Shark Rec. - 1999)

The Germans present their true metal on this album which is a live recording. Ten tracks can be found on this release. It should be noted that the fresh drum sound is done by Primal Fear skins man Klaus Sperling.
The microphone is in the hands of Thomas Zeller who heat up the audience. They toured with bands like Deep Purple, Nazareth and Victory where they proofed their live abilities which are banned on disc. On bass is Wolfgang Nübling and guitarist Andy Wölk - who plays endless guitar solos - are completing the line-up. The live recordings from March 1999 present what makes German true metal.
If you aren't into German true metal, you shouldn't listen to this one, but if you are into this music then buy it. Guitarist Andy Wölk will enchant you and drummer Klaus Sperling is without doubt one of the best in Germany. Their mate Nübling offers a decent performance and master Zeller can convince the fans.
Enough is said!

Bursting Out

Bursting Out
(Shark Rec. - 1999)

MP is a German band which released 3 albums in the late 80's and toured e.g. with Victory, Nazareth and Deep Purple in Germany. Now they return with a live album called Bursting Out. Drummer Klaus Sperling is a member of Primal Fear and this might bring the band some attention.
MP is power metal! Sometimes fast, sometimes more mid-tempo. Unfortunately I don't know their albums and so I can't compare the live stuff with the studio ones. But what I hear sounds quite good and the sound quality is very good. For me it's not easy to judge....
