While listening to the opener Awakening it becomes obvious which are the idols of Mourn, coz influences of Trouble, The Obsessed and Black Sabbath are too visible. Especially on Iron Sky singer Caroline Wilson sounds like Revelation front man Dennis Cornelius. The slow, doomy, dark and heavy songs will give you shivers. The songs have a certain melancholy, but ain't monotonous. Only Through These Eyes is a little faster and gives the album a little variety.
