The album Wind It Up presents 12 AOR songs, collected during the last decade. But that doesn't mean that this album isn't sounding homogenous. The album title and opening track is a melodic, rocking track, beside that McDonald offers slower, more balladesque songs like Head Back Home and The Night Heaven Falls Down.
For the recordings Brian McDonald got teamed up by Reb Beach, Alex Masi and Abe Laboriel Jr., so musically there is no way to find any weakness. If this album would have been released in the late 80's, it might have been a million seller. These days....
A great AOR album which will find the way to the AOR fans and hopefully one day this music will get more attention!
