Kolp is active with their second album, and this time the music is deeper and scarier than before. The new album is standard Eastern European black metal, but too slow to make an impression unless you don't have much demands for the metal delivered. Tortured screams and boring creations is what comes from Hungary if Kolp are to set the standards for the music. Only song that brings a little entertainment is The Place, and that is only because of the interesting moving style the song has, otherwise the 7 other songs are not convincing of charisma to speak for themselves. If Kolp have something to say I would hope it happens on the next album, because on The Outside there is no light in the blackness.
