A new black metal band has now released their debut album, Kain from Germany names their first CD the inspiring name Omega. All texts are in German, and not the greatest of variation makes a simple impression of Kain. 11 songs dominated by drums and the strange voice of David Seifert who sound like he can't decide whether to scream, growl or sing. On the song Fleischeslust there is a long spoken passage from Seifert along with overpowering drums in their black metal noise. Vom Erdenleid is one of the better songs with a great black massive rhythm steering towards a black attack to catch the listeners attention. Nephilim also has some good qualities in creative black songwriting as the song is fast and filled with a habile guitar sound. Kain will surely come back again with a new album where they can get more depth in their music.
