Hellig usvart

Hellig usvart
(Nuclear Blast - 1994)

I almost prejudged the band after listening to the first 2 tracks, coz at all they aren't that bad. After some superb brutal black metal blasts the band of mastermind Anonymous decides to turn away from brutality and uncoordinated guitar blasts. From track no. 4 Thine Hour Has Come the album is becoming a decent black metal output. They can probably be compared with Dark Throne's A Blaze Of The Northern Sky and with the old Bathory or Marduk. But Horde present 'holy, non-black' metal. And for the length of the song titles they should be world champions! For example: An Abandoned Grave Bathes Softly In The Falling Moonlight.
