Last year the German thrash metal legend Holy Moses returned to the stages and released the MCD Master Of Disaster. After their show at Wacken many fans of thrash metal with extreme vocals were waiting for the first full-length album after the reunion and almost a year later it's in the stores!

What to expect from Disorder Of The Order? Musically they offer a larger variety, there are mid-tempo tracks like the title track, but with Sabina Classen's extreme vocals. Sabina's extreme vocals is what the fans love, but at the same time it'll be what some metal fans won't like...

Outstanding is the mid-tempo track Verfolgungswahn which starts with an unusual drum rhythm ad which has German lyrics! Also Heaven Vs. Hell is different, perhaps due to the guest on the four-strings... On that track Die Ärzte bassist Rod GonZález joined the Hamburg based quintet.

The new bass player Andreas Libera fits into the band well. The change didn't effect the song writing, coz still most of the songs are written by Andy Classen who also produced the album at the famous Stage One Studios.

Finally I should mention that the cover art­work and the layout is done by Stephan Hagenow who created the comics Joe Darling and Rattenmeute.

I'm not sure, if anybody really needs Holy Moses these days... One thing I couldn't deny which I realized at the H:O:A: is that the guitar riffing of the guitarists Franky Brotz and Jörn Schubert is excellent. Then there isn't much positive to say about them and at least to mention the dreadful voice of Sabina Classen!

Again a band reunites which nobody really asked for and which probably takes the chance of a young innovative newcomer band to get a record deal. Holy Moses celebrating trash metal on speed (Hell On Earth, Deeper, We Are At War) and as I mentioned before the vocals... Who wants to hear a woman growling like being put on a skewer?!? The album has 12 tracks and the track Verfolgungswahn (means persecution mania) may cause persecution mania. Personally I think that Disorder Of The Order is a total waste. Especially after a reunion like the one of Destruction it seems that Holy Moses have totally lost! So, save your money for something better!

This is the first sign of life since 1994 and it shows that Holy Moses are back! This MCD offers 5 tracks which are in their own tradition, thrash with extreme vocals. Since Sabina Classen left the band the fans were demanding the reunion and now 20 years after Sabina joint Holy Moses she's back!

The MCD which was recorded and produced at Andy Classen's Stage One studio will be welcomes by the fans and doesn’t lack the quality of many other reunion albums.

It will be interesting to see the band live on the festival stages and the next album will show, if the Germany can keep the quality level... It's all wait and see!
