It has been many years since the Italian guitar masters Walter Ciancius and Dario Parente has been heard of. But totally out of business would be a wrong accusation to put on them, they have made a new album called Growing Apart, where the old guitars gets new life. Following the inspiration of music from Foreigner and Journey the listener gets a well controlled soft mix of rock songs, melodic and both slow and mid-tempo creations. Mostly mainstream AOR rock but here and there we get more than the ordinary, for example the title song Growing Apart, and also No Happy Ending is better and more catchy than pop rock music from today. It's clear that Ciancius and Parente has a lot of experience, and that's helps the album greatly on the way.
