- October, 27th 2009 - Losheim (D), Eisenbahnhalle -

I was really shocked when I entered the Eisenbahnhalle in Losheim. It seemed that maybe only about 150 people found their way to listen to Ensiferum & co. Because of this, the event started a bit earlier so that Tracedawn entered the stage at 7:45 PM. I was really surprised by these guys! They are between 18- & 22-years old and they rock! I never felt a power from stage like this when there are only 20 people directly in front of the stage in a hall which is for 1,000 people! The six youngsters from Finland really had fun on stage and they smashed songs to the listener's ear! It was really fun listening to them and I hope to see them again someday. If you have the chance to catch them live, just do it!
At half past eight it was time for a break. Tracedawn left the stage and then it was time for Metsatöll from Estonia. Their mix of folk, Viking and humppa metal was really fine and the few people who were there took part for the great mood. I'm sorry that I can not name a song, because I really did not understand any words, because every song is in their mother tongue. Great Band!
And now it was time for the headliner, every single person of our army of 150 men was ready for Ensiferum. The band itself seemed not to be as happy as their fans... But they did a great show with great songs as From Afar, Twilight Tavern, Iron, Wanderer and One More Magic Potion, only to name few of their 90 minute set.
After all, it was really a nice show. The bands were great, the mood was great, everything was great - but the crowd was way too small!
It would be great, if the promoter of this event would do more advertising for his events...
