This is the e-single of Argentine outfit Dominus Inferi which is most interesting for fans of the bombastic sounds of Kamelot, Epica and who don't avoid operatic vocals! But ain't similar to Nightwish or Within Temptation. Singer Sebastián Agra reminds me a bit of Mike DiMeo... The ten-piece band is offering what most metal bands do - 2 guitars, bass, drums and a keyboard -, but additionally to the two singers they have 3 backing singers in the band. And that explains why you get beside heavy riffs, big choirs! The combination of a rock singer and an operatic vocal part works out very well. The song is melodic, symphonic, dramatic and enchanting. Even if there are similarities to some bands this is a good basis to start from. I hope to hear more from this Argentine band!
