Rock'n'Roll Accident

Rock'n'Roll Accident
(Massacre Records - 2012)

A groovy kind of hard rock is what comes out of the speakers when you put the new CD from Dirt into the machine. Not the most original music but with some good ideas of going slow as if you played for a bunch of air heads who can't have the music too fast or they will loose the idea of the musical content. 10 new songs and the most interesting I can put my finger on is the title song Rock'n'Roll Accident with slow rock but the sneering bite is ready right under the surface. Never Change My Ways starts out a little boring and unorthodox, but soon comes to another level with groovy hard rock with a great attitude. Crush supplies a fresh rhythm in a hard rock style that is among the best songs of this album. One Step Away ends the list with a very nice ballad which consists of slow rock but still has some good intensity in it.

Not the very best album the Germans has made here, but they needed to make a follow up record to their 2009 release Suicide Blues.
