(Agonia Records - 2012)

The French group Decline Of The I are trying to define facts and experiments of the human nature physical, philosophical and mental. Often it is with pain in the music, documentary spoken passages and based on black metal to go with the spooky story. They are releasing their debut album, and it's the first part of a trilogy that we get here. It is music, it's filled with horror and ugly things, mostly the music is slow and deep, actually difficult to describe what it really is, that kind of album should be experienced by yourself to get a vision of it. But ordinary it is definitely not, only a black and scary expression of what Decline Of The I has to say about the painful nature of human life. Texts are both in French and English language if that should bring more light to what the band wants to tell.
