Immortal?

Immortal?
(InsideOut Music - 2000)

The British prog rockers released since their foundation in 1995 3 studio and a live album as well as an EP. After their last album The Visitor and the following tour singer Paul Wrightson and bassist John Jowitt left the band and been replaced by singer Rob Swoden and four-stringer Ian Salmon. With the new singer Rob Swoden the band sound a little harder, but it's still prog rock.... The band of former Marillion drummer Mick Pointer is getting better and better.... And the new members added new elements and freshness. On Immortal? the band used counterpart vocal passages which makes it sound very interesting. In the CD review of Heavy, oder was!? the reviewer compared them with Savatage due to the counterpart vocals... And, yes the counterparts remind of Tampa's finest. Also the beginning of The Butterfly Man is kinda sound like them, but this is not Savatage and this is not a metal band!
Personally I fall in love with this album, when I listened to it for the very first time... And so I can highly recomment this CD!
