Welcome to the kingdom of mutilated corpse and wicked passions! Since 1981 the band Ancient Rites are around and now they present with Blasfemia Eternal their 2nd release. The band members are Gunther Theys (vocals / bass), Bart Vandereycken (guitars) and Walter von Cortenberg (drums). The trio plays aggressive black / death metal with hyperfast parts which are a nice contrast to the melancholy, dark and atmospheric slow parts. They lyrics not just deal with Satanism, they deal with historical events and stories about medieval civilizations.
